GDM Health App

As a result of your continued support, our Charity has recently funded a 12 month License for the GDM Health App.
The healthcare app is designed for people with gestational diabetes and it allows for remote monitoring of blood glucose levels and communication with our MY Staff.
One of our Clinical Nurse Specialists reinforced its influential impact;
The GDM health app allows the Specialist team to review patients virtually, supporting us to prioritise patients depending on different levels on control. The wider MDT are able to access this to review patients’ blood glucose levels in the clinical setting, which facilities a better clinical consultation.
A Patient shared how the app has enhanced their experience;
The app allows my nurse to review by control and contact me if needed, we can sent messages via the app which save a lot telephone contacts. If we do need to speak on the phone it is a much quick call saving my time and theirs.
