Gary Ellis - Charity Committee Member

Non Executive Director / Charity Committee Member 

My name is Gary Ellis, I joined Mid Yorkshire Hospital Trust in October 2019 and also became a member of MY Hospitals Charity Committee.

In my day job I am Chief Executive of the Coalfields Regeneration Trust an organisation dedicated to supporting and improving the quality of life for the 5.7 million people living in former mining communities.

The NHS is such a valued institution and part of our society’s fabric. It is an honour to be able to see close up the amazing work the staff at Mid Yorkshire perform and the positive effect this has on patients health and well-being.

The role of the charity to contribute further to patients positive experience and staff welfare is something I am committed to supporting and promoting the great work the charity already does and its plans for the future.
