Due to the amazing contribution from our communities we currently do not require knitted hats

The Trust is greatly appreciative of donations that are crafted by groups and individuals within our communities. Enabling and providing staff with the ability to 'gift' crafted items to our patients compliments our Trust vision to achieve an 'excellent patient experience each and every time'.

We kindly request that only items which appear as currently required are sent to us, as we unfortunately do not have the space to store other items. Thank you.

Winter warmer packs

This winter, MY Hospitals Charity will once again fund Winter Warm Discharge Packs to support vulnerable patients leaving hospital. Aimed at those needing a little extra support, the packs include warm clothing, blankets, and food to ease the transition from hospital to home during colder months.

We need your support to fill these packs. Any donations of knitted scarves, hats and gloves for discharge packs would be most appreciated. We also need your support in creating knitted teddies to support our staff in the winter months, roughly 20cm to fit in hampers.

Distributed across Pinderfields, Pontefract, and Dewsbury Hospitals, the packs have made a meaningful difference for patients at risk of cold related health issues or social isolation

Here are some free scarf and mittens patterns to get you started!
