The newsletter highlights our achievements, shares stories from the community, and keeps everyone informed about our ongoing projects. In each edition, you'll find updates on recent events we've hosted, the donations we've received, and the impact these contributions are making.

Edition 6 — Summer 2025
In this edition, you’ll find more about our current key fundraising projects and how your support helps us continue making a real difference for patients, families, and staff across our hospitals. Now is a wonderful time to reflect on some of the fantastic things happening in our community. Fiona’s amazing fundraising challenge has inspired us all, while Sarah and Debbie’s Cake and Bubbly afternoon was filled with fun, laughter, and generosity. The MY Hospitals Charity Yorkshire 3 Peaks team also rose to the occasion, showing true determination as they tackled the Y3P Challenge in support of our cause.

In this edition, we celebrate the opening of our brand new MRI suite at Pinderfields Hospital, after 3+ years of fundraising! We recap on our very late Festive Quiz, and share the generous Easter donations we received. We have some exciting events coming up this summer, from the Great North Run, to our Yorkshire Day celebrations, and we'd love for you to be a part of it. Also, we have a special welcome message to our newest member of the team — Hari the Hippo!

In this edition, MY Hospitals Charity celebrated it's 27th Birthday! We recap on Christmas, including the many, many donations we received, as well as our very generous donation from Dr Jackson's Cancer Fund. And we NEED your help for our Hands Across Wakefield event — we still need to sign up around 600 people. See pages 4 and 5 for more info.
