Complex Needs Carer Bed

Donations make a huge difference to patients, families and carers at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Pictured above is a Carer Bed purchased to support the families of our Complex Needs Patients with help of the monies granted by NHS Charities Together.
The positive feedback we have received from this addition has been incredible.
Here we share just a few words from our Families and Carers whom really appreciated the offering;
The bed made a massive difference. Rather than being in a chair at the side of my sister’s bed, I was able to sleep at the side of my sister and the bed was quite comfortable. My sister has a learning disability and would have not managed in hospital without me being there.
My daughter has a learning disability and needs help to make her needs known when she is in hospital. Having the camp bed meant I could stay with her and ensure I was able to support the nurses with her care.
