Matty Nutter Memorial Football Tournament

On Sunday 10th July 2022, we attended the Matty Nutter Memorial Football Tournament, where 16 teams competed for the memorial trophy. The day was a huge success, raising £4415, with all proceeds going towards enhancing patient care and experience at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust.

Us as a charity team were very grateful to receive the donation, and we will direct all funds towards Haematology Research at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust , as the Haematology Team showed exceptional care towards Matty before his passing in January.

The Haemotologist team here at the trust look after patients who may have blood or bone marrow disorders.

A special thank you to Dean and Joanne Nutter, who handed over the donation from the event.

Ponte FC were the lucky winners, but everyone who attended came with positive energy and put in great effort to make the event a great day. Thank you to the volunteers who put this event together and contributed to make the day so special!
