TLC Teddies Donation

We had the pleasure of receiving a kind donation given to MY Hospitals Charity by the West Yorkshire Freemasons, who have kindly supported us by donating three TLC Teddies to use in future Charity events.
Teddies for Loving Care are locally managed by Freemasons who also volunteer their time to run the scheme. They may be familiar to those who perhaps have attended our Childrens A+E Department who also have a supply of the cuddly bears for their Patients.
The teddies are usually provided to comfort children who are distressed within Accident and Emergency Departments, they help to calm patients down and enable staff to assess the children’s needs as soon as possible.
We are also immensely grateful for the ongoing support we receive from the Freemasons who are kindly funding our Therapy Husky visits to staff groups which are taking place over the coming months.
